I noticed that tonight (May 11), CO operated a 752 as CO1900, LAX-OAK and CO1930, OAK-LAX. Anyone know the story behind these odd flights?

In general, any CO flights that have flight numbers 19XX are charters, so I'm sure that these were special charters for something...as to what, I'm not sure. One of our CO a.netters probably has access to that info, though.

CO uses the 1900 series of flight numbers for charters, though I don't know why these two charter flights occurred. Just guessing, are the A's and Angels (or Dodgers and Giants) playing?

I see that the Astros played in L.A. today and play in S.F. next...

That would be the charter for the Astros.

Correct: The Astros are in town and like many teams will fly into OAK over SFO for different reasons.

Astros charter.

And speaking whimsically, I'd love to see the airlines be able to use some 'performance enhancing' drugs or something...  Smile

Yes, yes

And sometimes teams stay in the East Bay hotels as well.
