I have checked MX's website and it shows absolutely no flights MEX-EZE-MEZ but until June.

Is there a problem with their sole B767 and probably the lack of a B757 to replace it with.

Regards.....

Unfortunately MXB it´s stuck at SFO for maintenance work, as far as I kwno the sched don´t appear MEX-EZE direct as the flight is going MEX-PTY-EZE operated with 757.

As for yesterday, it was a hell of a delay, because some CTA problems at BOG and heavy rain in EZE, MX1691 proceeded to MVD as alternate.

Hope MX really get´s those A330´s or at least another 767 to keep that route going.

Saludos

This is really bad for MX. I hope the maintenance work on the 67 is finished quickly so that the 6 weekly frequencies can be resumed on a non-stop basis. I think MX is taking too long to decide whether it should get a couple of A332's for its long-haul needs or wait for something else. To be honest, the A332 solution seems to me like the most suitable one... surely Airbus would be able to find a couple of secondhand birds for MX, at least as an interim solution, at good prices (or at good lease rates); after all, MX is a great Airbus customer.

This sucks and big time for MX and AM widebody shortage fleet! This will be the 3rd time MXB's goes into mx and the route is downgraded. RG is struggling and it would be time for AM to reinforce its presence. With the JP adventure, frequencies gained and presence to MAD and CDG is en jeopardy while AF still keeps dominating with far more seats and frequencies... it sucks my friends! MX and AM need more widebodies ASAP!

I believe AM will add a few more 777's to their fleet. Read somewhere that they are interested in getting about 8, is this true?

Getting a second B767 is an easy fast solution. There are more B767's around and available. Also, MX already has a B767.
