For the past 2 days, I have noticed that NW319/NW312 (usually a 752 or 753 turn) has been a DC-10-30. Does anybody know if this change is permanent or just an irregular equipment swap. Any help would be appreciated.

in light of NW major financial problems, will they now make aircraft available for long haul charter at reasonable prices, instead of gross over the top prices they have quoted in the past?

Looks like as if it was a temp, everything from here on out is back to normal, bummer, if that was running this weekend I would have tried to get one it.

I would have done exactly the same thing. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go to Hawaii or something if I want to get on a DC-10.

I sure miss the days when there were multiple daily D10 flights between MSP-LAX and DTW-LAX.

Thought they're only operating 753s to Hawaii?

What are the DC-10 routes by the way? MSP/DTW-LGW and AMS, AMS-BOM...what about out towards the Pacific?

MSP-HNL is a DC-10. I don't think the 753 would have the range (or that the f/a's would have the patience.)
