On June 14, I will be flying COMAIR and the CRJ for the first time. Every leg of the trip is a CRJ. I will be on four CRJ's throughout my trip, which passes through CVG. What could I expect? I have never been to CVG, or even on Delta. I have flown other "Trunk" carriers like American, Northwest, and United.

I flew on Comair from New Orleans to Orlando in January. Our flight was delayed by nearly two hours because the plane was late. The gate agent was a Delta employee who says that he hates working the Comair gate because the planes are always late and the customers are always upset. To his credit, though, he was very nice.

The CRJ was a fun plane to fly on, but very cramped. I am 6'1'', and I could not see out of the window because it was so low.

Overall, though, it was not a bad experience. I enjoyed flying on the CRJ, but it would get "old" after a while, especially if the flight is long and if you are a tall person.
Have a great trip!

I flew a Comair CRJ from FLL to MCO 4 months ago. I had heard so much about these regional jets that I expected a real interesting, terrific trip. My flight was also late, 35 mins for a 45 minute flight. The plane was full and very cramped also. I couldn't eat my slice of pizza (from the airport) without spilling it on me because of the little room. The flight attendent was freindly and the trip was sort of fun, because we didn't fly very high and we followed the FL turnpike all the way up the peninsula to MCO. That was neat as hell. All in a all, it did the trick. I know I'll be flying them increasingly in teh future, what with Delta's huge order backlog in Canada.

Comair is a good commuter airline to fly on. The service is good, although don't expect any meals, and the flight attendants are very freindly.

I haven't been on the CRJ, but I have been to Cincinnati. Comair has it's own separate terminal (Concourse C) there. It has restaurants and shops and many other amenities like that in the larger terminals. It is also the largest and most advanced regional airline facility in the world. You can get more info about CVG and a detailed Concourse C terminal map in the back of Comair's magazine "Wingtips."

Comair has also been doing some expansion at Concoure C. They are adding over 34,000 sq ft of additional space to provide for more shopping and dining choices as well as more business services. More phones, seating, and dataports are also being added.

I'm sure you'll enjoy flying through CVG on Comair, and from what I hear of the CRJ that should be enjoyable to fly on as well.

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Comair is cool! i've only flown on them twice, and i really haven't had long layovers there, but it's a neat airport (CVG) and the CRJ's are great.. but of course you're hearing that from me, and i've pretty much been raised on CRJ's and EM2's.

I flew Comair CRJ's from New Orleans to Orlando and back last July. I found the seats to be a bit uncomfortable as I am a big guy(6'0, 230). The service was excellent though. On our way back, we were delayed an hour because a cockpit warning light came on. At 7:00am, that was a bit aggravating. I'd take a mainline jet over a CRJ anyday, but the CRJ is certainly better than the turboprop.....just what it was intended to do. Have a nice trip.
