Hello everybody!

I just saw on RG online timetable that from May 3 (not sure) flights RG8756 and RG8752, GRU-LHR-CPH and GRU-LHR will be operated with the B772.

Can someone confirm this?

Hugs,

EMB195ER

Great news! RG took delivery of two additional T7 in 2005 and one of them will be/is being used for LHR-CPH...excellent news for the UK community, since RG's MD-11 did not pose any competition for BA's daily B747 business and first products.

I hope RG will very soon deploy the T7 to CGD-AMS...(KL currently uses the T7 to GRU)

RG's B777 is a top product in the market and congratulations for Varig.

Great news, but remember that RG used to fly to LHR with the 777 long ago. In fact, I think LHR was the first destination where RG deployed the aircraft after being delivered.

Well if it's in Varig's timetable hasn't Varig confirmed it?

Trident2e,

Varig timetable isn't the better source for any information. Big grin

I do hope they keep the T7 on this rout at least until August, when I will be flying GRU-LHR.  Smile

Hugs,

Well, what's absolutely obvious is that if Varig doesn't know, nobody else does!

This is confirmed and RG timetable is a good source of information for the assigned aircraft. Unlike the timeable of many other ailrines, e.g. KL, RG's timetable includes the aircraft to be used.

Until 2 May 2005 RG will use the B772 3 x week to LHR [4 x week will continue with MD-11] and as of 3 May the B772 will be used DAILY to LHR.

That's terrible news. There goes the MD11 operator into LHR...

For an aviation-fan perspective I have to agree with you...but for a pax (and especially premium pax) perspective, there is no way you can compare the MD-11 with the B777! There is no doubt that the introduction of the B777 is a major improvement in RG's service to LHR and CPH.

Any ideas where the 8th B777, which will enter service at the end of May/05, will be used?
