There is a web special fare at USD294.
That's GBP183. Taxes included.
What's the point of working for an airline earning peanuts when the fare get that low?
Think I might start looking for a job elsewhere, make real money and travel just as much.

www.americanairlines.co.uk
today is the last day to book. this specific example is for travel in February.
There are restrictions: AA141 or AA107 outbound, AA142 or AA116 inbound.
Still, that really is cheap. Does not cover the jet fuel costs, the lease on the planes and the wages for the grumpy middle-aged texans babes (you bet!).

That's good. But for specific dates in January, AC is offering a £159 deal (including taxes) routing LHR-YYZ-LGA-YYZ-LHR.  Big grin Further afield, the same airline is offering a £218 deal (including taxes) routing LHR-YVR-LAX-YYC/YUL-LHR.  Big grin

Aaer 777, the majority of airline jobs pay peanuts, that's a well-known fact! My advice would be to move to pastures new! I'm also working for an airline & earning peanuts, but it's strictly a temporary thing, certainly not my career!

DoorsToManual, I know (sigh). I loved it while it lasted. I had originally planned on working for an airline for a year or two, just to check out a few spots around the globe... but travel is addictive.
You end up forgetting just how bad the wages are cause you always have that next long haul first class trip to look forward to. I just woke up last week from a long financially disastrous dream.
I'll travel economy again, it's nothing half as bad as people make it to be... and F class becomes boring after a while...

Starflyer

These are being offered by UK Travel Agents such as Trailfinders & Airline Network.

Both have websites & always offer very good fares from the UK.

Try phoning Trailfinders (trailfinders.co.uk, although you can't book flights on their website) and airnet.co.uk (that's Airline Network).

ba.com usually has some good 'Sale' fares too.

If you can get a really cheap fare to London, there are some real bargains from there. The British are damn lucky....low fares grow on trees in Britain.
