Hey! What are your top five airlines you use? Also, give the percentage you use that airline! Here's mine:

1 US Airways--------------59.5 %
2 Northwest Airlines----26.2 %
3 Delta Air Lines----------9.5 %
4 AirTran Airways--------4.8 %

For the record, US Airways is my favorite airline and IMO, the best airline ever  spin !

I'll be flying two legs on United Airlines soon so my stats will change a little bit!

Thanks!

Even though you can't check a bag without paying extra, it now cost $2 a can for soda among other fees.

Anyway

1. Northwest 75.7%
2. Delta 5.6%
3. United 5.1%
4. TWA 3.4%
5. America West 2.8%

Northwest and America West are by far my favorites. Too bad both will be gone.

I have no idea about the percentages, so they are very much estimated:

Use:

1. KLM - 40%
2. BA - 20%
3. NW - 10%
4. AF - 10%
5. CX - 5%

Of the airlines I used so far:

Preference (coach):

1. KLM
2. MH
3. SQ
4. CX
5. AF

Business/First:
1. BA
2. AF
3. NW
4. CX
5. GA

Next 2 years these will be my 5 heavy users:

1. BA
2. CX
3. LAN
4. QF
5. KLM

This is by no means scientific, but:

Delta
US Airways
Southwest

(big gap here)

United
British Airways

Now, once I move out of PHX and have more control over my travel arrangements and spend some time in China, (God willing) it will look more like this:

Continental
United
Qantas
Lufthansa
Virgin America

Northwest would have been right after CO had this business not been happening and SkyTeam held up. I almost never mind connecting so IMO it is more worthwhile to stay loyal to a couple of airlines at least domestically and rack up the status. As far as international goes, the product and geography play a bigger role. For me, US Airways represents everything that is boring/mediocre about flying.

Don't feel like pulling exact numbers out, but my top five goes something like this:

1.) Delta
2.) US Airways
3.) Continental
4.) Northwest
5.) American

Been doing about 50 flights a year on Delta over the past 4-5 years. US Airways was my preferred carrier before then, but when Delta dropped the 50% MQMs for L/U/T fares, plus Dougie and the Sandcastle destroying what was an excellent airline, sent me right back to Delta. Continental was my primary carrier when I lived in New Jersey (lived 15 minutes down I-78 from EWR, so no surprise CO was the preferred carrier) and I still get a decent number of NW and AA flights in each year.

Can't be bothered to work out the percentages but....in order of preference:

BA (over 150 flights)
Finnair (approx 40 flights)
Air France (approx 10 flights)
Easyjet (approx 40 flights)
Ryanair (10 flights)

It's FR's colour scheme that puts me off. There's nothing wrong with the service.
