14, just a few months ago. Thai Royal Orchid Plus Silver.
I could have easily gotton elite status at the age of five, because I travelled so much, but I din't enrol in anything until late last year. Now I'm in AC aeroplan (do not use it because of TG ROP), CX asiamiles (miles not status), TG ROP, DJ velocity (miles not status) and EK Skywards (or as it is called for those under 16, skywards sky surfers).

Spoiled brats!
Quoting Yellowstone (Thread starter): Me - haven't yet gotten it. Maybe once I enter the workforce, hopefully in a job that has business travel.
That is my situation as well.
The closest I've gotten has been with Frontier. If I flew Frontier exclusively then I could probably get Ascent based on the number of segments (but not miles - MSP-DEN-PHX-DEN-MSP is plenty of segments but not many miles - they are among the shortest flights in F9s mainline system), but alas sometimes I fly Sun Country or other airlines instead.
When my dad works for a large company, on an international deal, registered in Norway, and living in australia, we get a huge travel 'budget'. The travel budget is based on an expensive last-minute Y fare for the whole family from PER-OSL w/ any carrier (and a little more - in case we only find extremly expensive fares). With it, our whole family manage a biz class ticket to Norway from PER (I travelled alone to Norway in Y this christmas also) with many domestic trips and intra-asian trips.

I'm 19 and have just got Premier status on Mileage Plus with United. That was due to a RTW on Star Aliance. Not much point in having it though, I won't be flying anywhere with Star in the next year sadly

I got my Pualani Platinum for Hawaiian Airlines when I was 7 because we took a lot of inter-island and mainland trips because of my mother doing cases in Los Angeles or on another island (I always tagged along when I could). I just got my Premier status on UA a few months ago at 13. I thank my mother for flying a lot and taking me.

How come DL's FF program doesn't involve segments? Anyway, as long as my CO miles transfer to MQM's for my flight to London and back I'll finally have ff status as a silver medallion member. With school, I should be able to maintain this and continue to build miles so I can finally upgrade to first class on transatlantic flights.

41 - with AA, back when I had to travel to London on business and most of my personal travel was on AA. Only lasted one year.
Got it again for 07 on Continental, Elite Sliver. So far, only one upgrade - upgrading on SRQ-EWR isn't easy. But I did get upgraded on FLL-EWR on Sunday, when all the cruise ships come in, so it is possible! And it is nice to just walk down the Elite carpet and onto the plane whenever I want, plus the 25% mileage bonus.
Should be able to maintain this with a little planning - I already have about 6500 miles flown & 8700 miles purchased but not flown, a west coast run and a few runs to Florida should cover the rest!
