Hei Guys,
Might be visiting southern Germany soon, and was wondering if anyonw knows of any good aviation hobby shops? My collection consists mainly of GeminiJet models (1:400), however I won't limit my search to only shops that carry those kinds of models.

So if anyone can suggest a good place to get my fix of models I'd be most appreciative.

thanks in advance for your help.

KWI

I was just in a hobby shop in Munich a year ago...all my receipts are in a box as I just moved however so I can't site the name of the shop, but...if you take the "underground" to the "city center" walk north about 1/2 mile through the main mall where all the shops are you will come to a big square with a fountain...just to the left of the fountains is a store complex...kind of a corner large toy store...go downstairs...they carry all kinds of goodies...large selection. Same thing with Stuttgart. Receipts in same box...Munich airport has a hobby shop at the observation mound by the entrance to the airport...you'll notice a pyramid structure with stairs...at the base of this complex is a shop that sells what your looking for...wish I could name specifics for you but can't at this time...I found these shops just by asking locals...was easy...j

Great description of how to get to the toy store in downtown Munich Soon7x7.  thumbsup

Address:

Obletter Spielwaren
Karlsplatz (Stachus) 11-12
80335 München/Munich
Opening hours: Mon-Sat: 09.30 - 20.00 o'clock

Public Transportation:

Karlsplatz (Stachus) station
Tram: 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 27
Underground/Metro: U4, U5
Suburbian Train: S1, S2, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S20/27

Karlsplatz (Nord) station

The store located at the airport of Munich is located at an area called "Besucherpark". You can easily get there by following the signs within the airport buildings or by disembarking the suburbian train lines S1 or S8 at the Besucherpark station.

Hope this helps.
