Poll: What Fs Aircraft Are You Flying Mostly?

Hi,

Thought it might be cool to ask what Fs Aircraft people have a preference to/like/or are flying a lot etc. at the moment or just in general. For me it's the Crj-200 by Feelthere. I really like Eric Marciano's freeware A320 panel and this one was even better. I haven't really tried PMDG etc. but the autopilot flies nice and smooth (and finally has a bank angle limiter as opposed to the default Fs aircraft). Was flying it in Lufthansa livery flying out of Stuttgart for Lufhtansa regional (flew to London, Paris CDG, Barcelona El Prat).

So I guess the question is if interested what aircraft have people enjoyed for Fs9/Fs8/FsX.

Any comments welcome.

Many thanks,

Pierre.

Since I don't have any downloaded aircraft (and because I don't know how to anyway), I mostly use the default World Travel Airlines 737-800, and behind that the Orbit CRJ-700.

Wilco 737-400 Pro. Its a great plane with a great 2D panel. For the long hauls I fly the PSS 777-200LR and for short hops PSS Dash-8-300QX. All great planes and fun to fly.

Hi,

Just to say many thanks for the replies. Sounds like the default 737-800 in Fsx might be quite cool. The default 737(400) has actually been probably my most flown aircraft in Fs9 (I find once the aircraft.cfg elevator sensitivity is reduced they both fly quite nice and stably(?) in pitch - it and the default Learjet). The 737-800 was definitely quite fun in real life too (luckily living in the Uk Ryanair gives you the chance to fly in a 737-800 for pretty much $10-$20 return to some pretty cool places) but for those of us who are not quite as adventurous as feeling the need to really fly more than maybe once or twice a year the sim version sounds as much fun (and I get too keep my feet on the ground!  Smile)

Many thanks for the ideas etc.,

Pierre.

Very simple. Lets take a Posky model for example.

-Download from the posky site
-unzip the file
-place the unzipped file in your FS aircarft folder
-and thats it

Some other models are a little bit more complicated, especially if they have more complex cockpits or other features. But the almost always have a readme file with clear instructions on how to install the aircraft.

A little tip though, most freeware aircraft come with defualt engine sound files. Just go to avsim and you'll find lots of more realistic sound files that easily replace the default files. To install them, its the same idea as installing the aircraft itself. Just unzip the file and move the files over to the sound folder of the aircraft you want to change and click yes to overwrite any existing files.

Yup, thats the only plane I fly now. I may occasionally touch the PMDG 737 but its rare. I simply cannot fly a plane that doesn't have a fully working FMC now!

No FMC = no point.

Just got my Airbus Vol1 Delux from Wilco and all I can say is that default AC sucks.....I still have to learn a bunch of things but it will make as a sim pilot better and that is all I am about...to get better! It is so much more fun to figure it out all detail how to start AC,fill your flight plan an take off ...anyway,like I said before default A321 for FSX in my opinion is the best..credit to MC!
